Remembering Sandy Hook

As educators around the world, we remember and honor our fallen colleagues and their students from Sandy Hook School.  We honor them each day in our classrooms where we continue their dream of educating our children.  We honor their memory with our service.
Join with teachers everywhere in committing random acts of kindness to show our love for Sandy Hook.

  1. Random acts of kindness mean more than I ever realized. Last night, my family and I went out to dinner while running errands. We were all tired after a busy week and still had a few stops before we could go home and rest. After we finished our meal, the waiter came up to us and told us another customer had paid our bill and told him to tell us, "Merry Christmas!" I haven't been able to stop thinking about the generosity of this stranger. I hope he knows how much his small gesture touched all of us.

    1. Thank you so much for taking the time to share this with me! I can't imagine how special that must have felt - what a wonderful gesture from a complete stranger - it really does restore my faith in human kind! I know you would be exactly the kind of person that would pay this forward! It's wonderful to hear that there are still people out there with such compassion and kindness. <3
