Educents Launch and Giveaway!

Have you heard the news!? Educents is opening their MARKETPLACE! What does that mean? That means that besides the already AMAZING deals they offer on a daily basis, you can now purchase items from sellers stores, also on a daily basis! WHAT!? That’s right! Over 500 sellers have already created stores in the Educents Marketplace, so you are sure to find some money-saving deals any time you need them!

To LAUNCH the whole thing, several of the sellers are joining in to bring you a sneak peek at a FREE product offered in their new sale, as well as hosting a giveaway for $50 worth of Educents Credits. You can buy a LOT of educational materials with that kind of money! And, there are several groups of bloggers who are joining the LAUNCH, which means multiple ways to enter.

My freebie came about as a result of a weekly free newspaper being delivered to our school.  I wanted to find a way to utilise this gift if I didn't want it to end up in the paper bin for recycling!  The idea of task cards was simple, but effective.  I could laminate them and add them to a center for early finishers.  Adding the editable task cards meant I can change out topics depending on what we were currently learning.  Of course my students love being up to their elbows in newsprint!!
Just click on the image above to find this freebie in my Educents store.

Watch the excitement build as you bring in that big bundle of newspapers for your students to work with! A great way to introduce or review ELA skills and keep your students engaged and motivated at the same time!

Task cards include:

Reading Expression/Fluency
Compound Words
Dictionary Work

I have added a set of editable task cards for you to add your own content.

After you check out my Educents store (and FREEBIE), be sure to check out some of the other stores in the link up below. And, of course, make sure to enter for your chance to win $50 in Educents credits too!
